Special focus workshop on PET-MRI

 

The event will take place on Monday November 1, 2010, from 2 pm to 9 pm, as part of the 2010 IEEE NSS-MIC at Knoxville, Tennessee.

 

 

 

The aim of this workshop meeting is to present and discuss the latest developments in hardware and data processing for combined PET-MR systems. The emphasis will be on scientific/technical developments in the following PET-MR areas:

 

á         Image reconstruction and data processing techniques

á         Attenuation correction

á         Motion correction

á         New detectors

á         Novel system configurations

á         Electronics

á         MR design

á         Compatibility challenges and solutions

 

Final Programme

 

Scientists working in these areas are encouraged to participate in this workshop and to submit abstracts (~400 words) to Emma Sperring by August 31 2010.
