Special focus workshop on PET-MRI
The event will take place on Monday November 1, 2010,
from 2 pm to 9 pm, as part of the 2010 IEEE
NSS-MIC at
The aim of this workshop meeting is to present and discuss the latest
developments in hardware and data processing for combined PET-MR systems. The
emphasis will be on scientific/technical developments in the following PET-MR
areas:

Image reconstruction and data processing techniques
á
Attenuation correction
á
Motion correction
á
New detectors
á
Novel system configurations
á
Electronics
á
MR design
á
Compatibility challenges and solutions
Scientists working in
these areas are encouraged to participate in this workshop and to submit
abstracts (~400 words) to Emma
Sperring by August 31 2010.
There is no formal
registration procedure. If you wish to attend, please send us an email to Emma Sperring referring to
"PET-MR Workshop" and specify your email address. This will allow us
to plan appropriately and keep you updated.
